Pay only for the minutes you use.
Lavaka runs on credits. You buy credits, and each platform uses them only while you have it open. No subscriptions, no monthly fees.
Individual
For researchers- Minimum purchase 30 credits (₹30). Recharge any amount above that, whenever you need.
- Use credits on every platform open to individual accounts.
- Credits are used only while a platform is open, from when you open it until you close it. SAMAR uses 1 credit per minute, and part of a minute counts as a full minute.
- Credits expire 12 months after they are added. Your oldest credits are used first.
- Log in with email and password, or with Google.
Request 100 free credits, about 1 hour 40 minutes of SAMAR, from your account page. One request per account.
Refunds apply only when an analysis fails because of a problem with our platform. See the Refund policy.
Institutional
For institutes- Credit-based purchase is available for platforms that support it, with a minimum purchase of 10,000 credits.
- Some platforms cannot run on credits. For those, for unlimited use, or for access to several platforms, contact us and we will set up a plan for your institute.
- Your containers run in the data centre nearest to your institute, as your country's data rules require.
- Members join with your institute's single sign-on or an access code you share with them.
- Members see and use only the platforms your institute has added.
- Credits expire 12 months after they are added. Institutional purchases are not refundable.

Platform rates
Each platform has its own rate, shown before you start. You are charged for the minutes a platform is open for you, from opening it to closing it. Part of a minute counts as a full minute: a session of 2 minutes 10 seconds on SAMAR uses 3 credits.

Why institutional prices depend on location
We run each institute's analyses in the Google Cloud data centre nearest to it, so your data stays close to you and follows your country's data rules. Running in a different place costs a different amount, so the price of a credit follows where your containers run.
Hosting rates
Google charges different rates for computing in different regions. Some regions cost more than others.
Data rules
Some countries need extra safeguards, such as GDPR agreements and keeping data inside Europe.
Taxes and currency
Local taxes and exchange rates change what one credit costs in each country.
Common questions
- Can my institute get unlimited use or several platforms?
- Yes. Credits suit platforms that support credit-based use. For unlimited use, for platforms that cannot run on credits, or for access to several platforms, contact us at support@lavaka.net for a plan.
- Is GST included?
- Yes. On individual accounts, ₹1 buys 1 credit, GST included.
- How is time counted?
- By the minute, from when you open a platform until you close it, and part of a minute counts as a full minute. A 2 minute 10 second SAMAR session uses 3 credits. If SAMAR sits idle for 10 minutes, it asks whether you are still working. If you don't answer within 2 minutes, it closes the session and those idle minutes are not charged, so a forgotten tab costs you nothing.
- Is there a subscription?
- No. You pay only when you buy credits, and you can stop at any time.
- Do credits expire?
- Yes, 12 months after they are added to your balance. Each purchase has its own 12 months.
- Can I get a refund?
- Only when an analysis fails because of a problem with our platform. Use Send bug report in the platform and see the Refund policy.
- Is my data safe?
- Your data runs in a private container, is never sent to any AI model, and everything analysed is deleted within 60 minutes after your session ends. See the Privacy policy.
